About the role

We are seeking an experienced part-time Accounts | Office Manager to join our team at Campbell Paton & Taylor in Orange, NSW. In this part-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounts and office management functions, ensuring the smooth running of our busy legal practice. The role is part-time, 30 hours per week. Suitable for school hours or 4 days a week.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations for business and client matters
  • Overseeing payroll and superannuation for our team
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing reports for management
  • Coordinating office operations, including procurement, facilities management, and administrative support
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our clients
  • Assisting with ad-hoc projects and tasks as required
  • Trust account management

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar accounts and office management role
  • Strong financial management skills, with a solid understanding of accounts receivable, payable, and general ledger practices
  • Excellent organisational and administrative abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficient in using practice management software and Xero (or similar)
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Diploma level qualification preferred
  • Australian work rights required at time of application
