This workshop is a full-day introduction to stage lighting with Dom Ingersole, covering lighting basics, rigging and safety, reading lighting plans, patching, focusing, intelligent lights, and digital desk operation through practical exercises across the day. Together, these collections and words will become part of a documented community archive, later informing Laura’s hand-cut paper practice.

Looking for something fun and skill-building these holidays?
Total Health Orange is running two OT-designed holiday programs this July. These aren’t just holiday activities — every session is purposefully structured to target real therapy goals like handwriting readiness, coordination, strength and focus. The best part? Kids are having so much fun they won’t even realise they’re working on skills their teachers and therapists have been targeting all term.
Mini Makers (Kindy–Year 3) | Tues 7 & Wed 8 July | 9.30–11.30am | $200 Fine motor skills, hand strength, crafts and creative play for little hands and big imaginations.
DanceFit / Yoga-Lates (Ages 11–16yrs) | Tues 7 & Wed 8 July | 2.00–3.00pm | $150 Movement, mindfulness and strength for teens — building flexibility, balance, posture and concentration.
Both programs are NDIS welcome. Spots are limited!

Join CWAS at CSIRO’s Parkes Observatory Visitors Centre for a night observing the stars.
No booking is required for this free event. BBQ available and cost applies – CASH ONLY.

Held in the 3D Theatre Room – Free Entry.
