Kirsten Cunningham

Why hello there! I’m Kirsten, I’m a photographer and content creator and I live in Orange, NSW. Orange is my place. You know, that place that makes your heart sing, where you go outside breathe fresh air and smile just because, where people are funny and kind and the food and coffee are awesome. I moved here in 2017 with my favourite person in the world Damien, and our two young, wild and crazy boys Byron and Fox. Wild has been an ongoing theme in my life! I learnt how to use my Canon SLR film camera while I worked as a tour leader in Africa before university. I’ve travelled the world with my cameras since then (even lugging a gigantic 4x5 large format film camera round Cuba) and have been lucky enough to live and work in every continent except Antarctica (so far!). I always thought I’d become a photojournalist overseas or work in the NGO sector, but then I fell in love and realised that I wanted to document the most beautiful things in life, not the most heartbreaking. And that’s how I became a wedding photographer! Hiking, camping and AirBNB getaways are some of my favourite things and every holiday you’ll find me and my boy tribe hiking in the Blue Mountains or swimming in the ocean somewhere.
